First Passivhaus certified homes in the Province of Cadiz

These are two independent single-family houses on two adjoining lots.

Two fundamental project premises: orientation (we had to combine the extraordinary sea views with the most suitable solar orientations from the point of view of passive architecture) and accessibility (both houses have an accessible ramp that runs through the interior of the house from the basement to the first floor).

Noteworthy ecological aspect: part of the rainwater is collected, decanted and subsequently used for irrigation.

It is guaranteed that the temperature difference between the indoor air and the outdoor air never exceeds 6ºC, when the outdoor temperature exceeds 32ºC. It has SATE on the facade for insulation, mechanical ventilation systems according to the type of housing, the windows are PVC WERU brand and the stones that were extracted during the excavation were used for the facade and retaining wall. All these requirements are necessary for certification.
